How to use it

  1. Pick a pace. Drag the numbers left or right, or use the arrow keys. Each side of the square lasts 60 ÷ breaths per minute ÷ 4 seconds.
  2. Press start and follow the dot. Up the left side: breathe in through the nose. Across the top: hold. Down the right side: breathe out slowly. Across the bottom: hold.
  3. Start easy. If a pace feels like a strain, pick a higher number. Go slower only when the current pace feels calm.

Stop and breathe normally if you feel dizzy, light-headed or short of breath. If you are pregnant or have a heart or lung condition, ask your doctor before breath-hold practice.
